The impromptu get together provided us all with the chance to assess the accomplishments of the Dundee Public Library and Friends of The Library throughout the year, as well as friendships being built upon and strengthened. From my own personal standpoint, 2015 was a year, during which I feel privileged to not only be a valued member of the group of volunteers, whose contributions with the library have been appreciated and recognized by the staff, the town of Dundee, guests, residents and regular patrons !
In 2016, it is my sincere belief the presence and profile of this community library along with the services provided will continue to be among the most valuable assets within the town. The library staff and volunteers will continue to be of real value within the community and the programs initiated by the Dundee Public Library in conjunction with Friends of The Library will continue to be of intrinsic value along with our events staged throughout the year.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank library staff members Julie Feagle, Kahliyah Monroe , Eileen Young and the entire group of volunteers associated with the Dundee Public Library for the continued efforts and hard work seen throughout the year ! To my fellow board members of Friends of The Library Dundee Inc, once again it goes without saying , teamwork has been the guiding light , driving force behind our success , our raised profile within the community and the continued success. Without the hard work and the demands to make sure each and every program initiated, continues to provide a great deal of joy to the kids within our community. It has to be said, the recognition though not necessarily sought, is gratefully appreciated when the praise itself comes from the civic members within the town as well as the community at large.
My sincere wishes to staff and volunteers of the Dundee Public Library , wishing you all a Merry Christmas ! To the board members of Friends of The Library Dundee Inc, may you also have a Merry Christmas, staying safe throughout the holiday period , while enjoying the festivities alongside family and friends !
