Another fun day for the children as the Dundee Public Library in conjunction with Friends of The Library Dundee hosted another event as part of their Summer Reading Program. Wednesday , June 28th , Ronald McDonald took center-stage as he provided the children with a morning of fun-filled entertainment. The venue for this was the Dundee Community Center , with the auditorium filled with kids, parents, guardians and custodians. Also in attendance were the children from Camp Rock , part of the Polk County Parks & Recreation’s initiative of a Summer Camp for the kids throughout the Summer.
The volunteers from Friends of The Library would like to take this opportunity to thank Ronald McDonald for his appearance at the Dundee Community and his being able to provide the children with a great deal of entertainment on Wednesday.
Just in case you are wondering how Ronald McDonald gets around town . Here is usual mode of transportation.
Our next presentation as part of Summer Reading Program will take place on 12th July at the Dundee Community Center at 10:00 am and will be a “ Color Your World Crayola Experience” . As usual , registration in advance will be required for the children wishing to attend the event. This can be done by phone or in person at the Dundee Library, simply leaving the information sought with a staff member.
