Patriotic Craft at the Dundee Community Center , Dundee, Florida

The Dundee Public Library’s Patriotic Craft Day held in conjunction with the Friends of The Library Dundee Inc as part of the Summer Reading Program took place on Wednesday, 29th June at the Dundee Community Center , Dundee , Florida. With children from the local community in attendance along with those from the Camp Rock Summer Program , an initiative of the Polk County Parks and Recreation Department, this event proved to be a tremendous success.

With a morning of arts and crafts, along with DJ Ric aka (Eric Bond) providing the music, much of which had a patriotic flavor to the morning’s activities, as we commemorate the nation’s two hundred and fortieth birthday on the 4th July. This would be the last event for the month of June as part of our Summer Reading Program schedule. There will be more events being staged during the month of July as we round out the Summer Reading Program for the year.
